October has always been my most favorite month. The foliage is gorgeous. Weather is cool, but not unbearable. Baseball season is wrapping up. School schedules settle in. Just so many wonderful things about the month.October is also breast cancer awareness month. My thoughts are with a very special friend. She has gone through treatment...twice. Never a single complaint. Always strong and independent. Doing it on her own. Such a truly amazing woman. She described her ordeal as "an inconvenience". So, here is to my friend.
